Lola & The Poets podcast is a virtual alchemical workshop exploring personal and collective magical journeys, the ways the mystical & the mundane are intertwined. Psychology, culture, art, alchemy. Solo shows & interviews. Out every odd Thursday. Hosted by Milana Vujkov.
In Episode 2, I’m talking to Milica Mijatović, traveller extraordinaire, chilling on Gili Air island, near Lombok & Bali, while we trapeze from Southeast Asia, to India & Nepal, to Africa, and South America, tracing the first leg of her travels, lasting two of the six years she’s now been on the road. We are discussing wanderlust, early imaginal trips with her mother, following your heart’s desire, appreciating adversity, the magic of slowing down, soul impressionism, ecology, volunteering in tribal communities, the pivotal importance of human connection, psychogeography, psychic awareness, telepathy, family egregores, hitchhiking lore around the globe, becoming an ace profiler, adrenaline rushes, how being suddenly broke can raise your dharma game, the sacred Amazon as womb, and much else. We talked via Skype, so the sound is webby, and there is plenty of background – daily prayers, children playing, fans rotating, and a lovely gecko, who was particularly vocal. But it all blends in, like her story. Enjoy. (106 mins)

My plan is to have an episode out every odd Thursday, hopefully once a month, which means that it will drop whenever there’s something to say, or a guest to talk to – but the day of the week will always be the same.
