Delighted to be taking part in the one-day symposium on 21st Century Magic and Spirituality in Media and Culture, at Goldsmiths, University of London, Friday 30 June, convened by media lecturer Dr Vana Goblot. I’ll be on Panel 3, talking about enchantment and the cinema, celluloid wizardry, immersion in film narratives, and the strange (in)toxicating world of VR. All the panels are excellent, pretty exciting, and really well-conceived. Hope to maybe see some of you there.
