The girl with the sparkle

and no warmth in her house,

walked paths of scorn & conceit,

found solace in frozen palaces,

and dirt roads, with blisters to burn,

looked at all the eyes,

in foreign kingdoms,

finding but phantoms of

fire & hearth that is

her home.
